ENSOL Limited has also has been participating in various other activities nationally and internationally. At nationally level, the company participated in various National Trade Exhibitions in Tanzania with notable achievements.
For example, in the 32nd Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF) which took place in 2007, ENSOL Limited emerged third winner in Electronics Products Category. The 33rd DITF which took place in 2008, ENSOL Limited clinched the second prize in the same category.
At internationally level, in 2008, ENSOL Limited participated in the World Bank administered Lighting Africa Development Marketplace Competition and was among the 54 finalists. The competition attracted hundreds of participants from all over the world who have similar vision and mission similar to ENSOL Limited in provision, supply, installation and inclination to effectively use internationally acceptable worldwide.
In this April this year 2010, ENSOL Limited won a grant worth USD 100,000 from Lighting Rural Tanzania Competition for electrification of dispensaries in Tunduru and Mbinga districts. This competition was organized by Rural Energy Agency (REA) in collaboration with the World Bank.
ENSOL won a grant worth Euro 185,000 through Energy and Environment Partnership (EEP) project proposal competition, for implementation of credit supply of solar power systems to rural horticulture farmers in Tanga.
ENSOL ranked 42nd among the Top 100 Mid-sized companies for the year 2010/2011 as per survey conducted by KPMG and Mwananchi communication.
